“David's audio is the perfect compliment to our work!

He has a great sense of what our needs are, and his music has been right on message! The fact that he is creating original compositions to fit our needs is amazing and beyond what we expected when we began our search for a composer.

With his help, we're feeling inspired by the possibilities, and feel his music is helping us elevate our content!

Thanks so much!”

His work can be heard on dozens of studio and live recordings, ranging from orchestral, choral, and concert brass music to pop, rock, folk, and metal. He will also soon be releasing his upcoming sound effects bundle The Sounds of Hong Kong. Speaking about the upcoming unique sound library, David said:

“During college, I studied at Chinese University of Hong Kong. When I returned to the States, I found myself missing the distinctive sounds of the city. I recently returned to Hong Kong for a month-long trip to capture the sounds I’ve dearly missed. Armed with a selection of microphones and a digital audio recorder, I captured the iconic sounds of the trams, ferries, crosswalks, and crowds. I recorded the jungle ambiences of Hong Kong’s outlying islands, the conversations of street hawkers, and even the rain and wind of a typhoon! I plan to make all 6+ hours of my Hong Kong audio recordings available early 2024.”
